MiniMonitor Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-19
MiniMonitor (the "App") shows the screen of your PC, on the same Wi-Fi network, on your phone.
1. Information the App collects directly
The App has no servers of its own. It does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or contact list, and it does not send any such information to the developer.
Your phone and PC talk to each other directly over the same Wi-Fi. This connection is encrypted (TLS) and each side is verified with an access code. The PC screen video never passes through the developer's servers.
2. Information stored on your phone
The name, network address and access code of the PC you connected to by QR code, and your display mode setting, are stored only in the App's private storage on your phone. They are deleted when you uninstall the App. In the App's settings you can choose "Scan QR again" to switch to another PC.
The App does not request camera permission. QR scanning is handled by the Google Play services scanner screen.
3. Ads
While no PC video is being received, the App shows a standby screen with a Google AdMob ad. To serve ads and measure their performance, AdMob may process information such as your advertising ID, IP address and device information. For details, see the Google documents below.
In regions that require consent (the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and others), an ad consent form is shown the first time you start the App, and you can change your choice later under "Ad privacy settings" on the settings screen. You can also reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your phone's settings.
4. The PC program
The PC program does not send any information to the developer's servers either. The PC name, network address and access code are stored only on that PC and are passed to your phone through the QR code.
5. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of a child in your country).
